NORITO is pleased to announce its participation in Untitled Art Miami Beach 2025.
 The gallery will present new works by Alexander Appleby and Eve Yifan Jiang, following their first duo collaboration in April 2025.

Appleby and Jiang first exhibited together in Romance Without Us (April 2025), a presentation that decentered human presence in favour of plants, imagined ecologies, and post-human bodies as agents of memory, transformation, and new modes of coexistence. At Untitled Miami, the booth will trace the distinct developments of their practices while highlighting new points of dialogue emerging from their continued exchange.

Appleby’s new works mark a progression from his earlier studies of light, surface, and spatial composition toward a convergence of body and terrain. Anchored by Utero Lake—where the curves of a pregnant body merge into a northern English landscape—these works refine a visual language that negotiates intimacy and vastness, the personal and the collective.

Jiang continues her redefinition of silk as a mutable skin, both site and surface for negotiating lived experience and inherited memory. Building on her recent explorations of fragility and resilience within a gendered register, these works signal a further movement toward fuller self-embodiment.
